Guidance for verification

The term verification means the identity verification according to regulators, controled by the Office for the Protection of Personal Data. It is mainly done to prevent money laundering, tax evasion, the fight against organized crime, and so on.

If your anonymity is a priority on the Internet, then verification will not be the best choice for you.

Do not be afraid that the service (exchange office, exchange) wants you to have this verification complete in order to exploit or sell your data. For such services, verification is simply more administrative, and if it were up to them, they would not do it. They do not want to take any risk of manipulation of your data due to huge regulator sanctions.

How does verification occur?

1. In most cases, you need ID (both sides) + energy bill (electricity, gas, water) from the place of residence with a recent date (no more than 2 months old). Sometimes a bank statement may also be required. This is called bureaucracy in practice :)


2. The necessary documents are taken with the camera. For example, you can use a camera on your mobile phone.


3. We will use either a wireless Bluetooth, a wifi, or a compatible cable (mostly USB) to transfer to your computer.
Images in JPG format; PNGs are sent either via email or uploaded directly to the service web site.
